Company Profile

Toyota Motor Philippines, Inc. (TMP), the local assembler of Toyota Cars, decided in early 1989 to appoint a franchise dealer at the northern part of Metro Manila. This move was made in order to bring its services and products closer to its clientele and to re-establish its network of dealers all over Metro Manila.

Technical know-how, marketing expertise and creditability prevailed over all the various criteria set by the TMP. Finding all these in one team, the final selection favored the group headed by Atty. Reginaldo A. Oben.

Toyota Balintawak, Inc. was organized and incorporated in July 1989 and was inaugurated on April 20, 1990. The company then ranked as Asia’s largest showroom dealer.

Inside the Toyota Balintawak, Inc. dealership, a spacious and comfortable vehicle service area with a well-trained, accommodating staff is provided to personally service every client. Backed up by the latest automotive equipment such as a modern paint booth, computerized four-wheel alignment apparatus, reel-type oil change equipment, power wrenches and lifters, and a break speed sideslip tester line, its Finance & Administration Department monitors and ensures a smooth flow of operations by continuously upgrading its computer hardware and software systems. Taking one step further in April 13th 1998, TBK launched the Quick Service Section. Presently known as the Service Fast Access Bay (FAB), this servicing system was made fully operational mainly to offer customers the quickest, most convenient and most reliable repair service for kilometre check-ups, tune-up, change-oil, maintenance and other light jobs. A systematic index parts section was also created for easy retrieval of spare parts.

On November 27, 1998, TBK gave rise to its annex, Toyota North Edsa, to cope with the growing market demand and to establish its leadership in the car industry even more. Strategically located along EDSA, Toyota North Edsa is particularly known for its state-of-the-art equipment in the Service section such as the newly-imported preparation booths, paint booths and the like.
